A ZOETROPE is a cylinder object with slits on the outside and still images on the inside.  When spun, the strips of still images create the illusion of an animation.

Humans and Earth stimulates questions about our relationship with the earth.  Is it playful one?  Do we feel we can hop from one earth to another?  Do we care for it?  How do we act...as humans?  Presented in a child and cartoon-like manner, Humans and Earth holds a message applicable to adult content and induces the viewer to look into a deeper meaning behind the work and within oneself.

Evolvement comments on the merging of evolution and human involvement around life, nature and communication.  The first zoetrope, Life,  begins with a pink bunny, who transforms into a human and back, while a carrot dangles above.  The second zoetrope, Nature, features the rise and fall relationship between a tree and a building.  The third zoetrope, Communication, involves a hieroglyphic symbol merging into a cell phone and a rock that forms into a wheel with shiny, gold rims.
