Echo is a mixed media installation composed of images on panels of silk organza. The pieces are depictions of a former lead mining town in Oklahoma. Les Signes de la Vie
As an artist-in-residence in France, I paid attention to the signs along the road. I translated the words, and was ultimately drawn to the images. The instructions and information are universal to our everyday lives as humans. Yes, there will be bumps in the road and our paths may take sudden sharp turns. Here and there we must merge with others. And, sometimes, it seems too difficult to keep on going and cross that path. But we do, or we don’t.

Immersed in a new city, exploring and seeking a sense of identity amongst a foreign culture with limited time, Catch up was created during an artist residency in Budapest through the Hungarian Multicultural Center.
The Real World is Full of Dummies
Created for the One Night Stand Film Festival where teams have 10 hours to complete a short film to screen for the festival that evening. At 9am an object, theme and line of dialogue are chosen from a hat. You have until 7pm to create a film including all three.
